Just went to the Peabody-Essex Museum which is ok...there was a lot of freaky ceramics like this pair of dogs(?) etc. There was also an photo exhibit about Moko the Maori traditional tattoos which can be seen here in this pic of a woman from the 1880s and in one of the photos from the show. Amazing!!

So remember Sarah Palin? Yeah neither do I. Well I thought it was SO FUNNY that she owned a tanning bed. What a cracker. All these "tanning professionals" were predicting a surge in the market if she was elected. But for real I think I might do the same thing if I lived in Alaska. It is how I get through the winter here...I can't believe it has already begun. Brrr!

Went to Milwaukee this week with Ross and Mrs. Rachel Walker-Walsh to go to thrift stores and buy cowboy boots (the funnest thing ever) and we stopped off at the Milwaukee Art Museum which is AMAZING. It has a G.D. kinetic roof and is just beautiful inside. LOOK!!

My boy Dan is in town for the SOFA show which was really crazy and big. He got some funny press which asks our favorite question: what is art anyway? One of the artists I really liked was Wendy Walgate who's ceramics are to the right--AND lots of these amazing moccasins--BEADWORK 08!!

Yo these people were AMAZING last weekend--i was dressed as a "Gambling Raccoon" for Halloween but I needed a mask. By some great coincidence Jon and I found a thin strip of black silk IN A TREE on the way from the Dead Gods show to the party we were going to. Cwazy! Then I was like, where we gonna get some scissors to make eye holes?! Lucky for me these two amazing people hooked it up by pulling out their pocket knives and spending like 15 minutes making me into a fabulous GAMBLING RACCOON! Photos by Jon
